Sunday was a day like many before it for the Cleveland Browns in their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A defense that could not make a big play, special teams breakdowns, silly penalties, and an ineffective offense are all par for the course when the Browns travel to Pittsburgh, where they have now lost 21 consecutive regular-season games.
While it has been apparent for weeks, Sunday’s loss officially eliminated the Browns from the playoffs. The fact that it took 13 games for that to become official says something, we’re just not sure what at the moment.
