The fairy tale season will continue for Browns tight end Gary Barnidge.
Barnidge was informed Monday night he had been added to the Pro Bowl roster, his agent, Cliff Brady, told the Beacon Journal.
“He’s happy,” Brady said by phone. “He’s thrilled. It’s a pretty big honor.”
Barnidge plans to fly to Hawaii on Tuesday morning to prepare for the all-star game that will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu and televised on ESPN. Players will be assigned to teams during the Pro Bowl draft on Wednesday.
The Browns will also be represented in the exhibition game by left tackle Joe Thomas and center Alex Mack, both of whom were selected to the Pro Bowl last month by fans, players and coaches.
