Terrelle Pryor needed only 17 snaps on offense and another on special teams during the preseason to convince the Browns they should take a leap of faith by keeping him on the team as he continues a challenging transition from quarterback to wide receiver.
All 32 NFL teams had to trim their rosters from 75 to 53 players before 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Browns and the others will continue to make moves this weekend. But the bottom line is Pryor remained unscathed at the end of the league’s annual cut-down day despite missing most of training camp and three of four exhibition games with a nagging right hamstring injury.
