Hue Jackson's coaching search continues, and reading the tea leaves, some indicators are pointing in clear directions.
On offense, Jackson said on a radio interview last week that he will call the plays. That means he will not be hiring a pure offensive coordinator.
Which lends logic to the thinking that he offered Vikings running back coach Kirby Wilson the job as coordinator of the running game. Wilson is an excellent coach who was with the Steelers from 2007-2013 and is much respected by Adrian Peterson.
Wilson and Jackson have a long-standing relationship. The two went to high school together in Los Angeles.
