The Cleveland Browns are 7-3 and just a half-game back of the top record in the AFC. With injuries continuing, instead of looking to add younger players who could develop, GM Andrew Berry has pivoted to veteran players this week to help out for injured players.
First, Berry added QB Joe Flacco in free agency to replace Deshaun Watson. Flacco could replicate some of what Jacoby Brissett did last year for Cleveland.
Then, on Wednesday, the Browns brought in veteran safety Duron Harmon to the practice squad to help replace Rodney McLeod who was lost for the year.
