The Cleveland Browns tweaked the roster on Saturday by signing running back A.J. Ouellette.
In a corresponding transaction, the team waived tackle Ka’John Armstrong.
The 5-foot-9 and 208-pound Ouellette is a rookie out of Ohio University who was originally signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. The Saints waived him after just two weeks when the team signed running back Javorius Allen.
With the Bobcats, Ouellette rushed for more than 1,000 yards in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons, and finished his collegiate career with 3,829 rushing yards, 32 rushing touchdowns and averaged 5.
