The Cleveland Browns have signed offensive lineman Mason Gentry and wide receiver Daniel Williams to their practice squad.
These moves come in the wake of two practice squad slots opening up this week. Offensive lineman Kyle Kalis was promoted to their active roster last Saturday, and today, defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale received a four-game suspension for an undisclosed violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.
Gentry, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound rookie lineman out of Southern Methodist, signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent before being released during final roster cuts.
