The Cleveland Browns have signed LB Cam Johnson to their active roster from Arizona’s practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team placed LB Nate Orchard (ankle) on injured reserve.
In addition, LB Corey Lemonier has been added to the injury report as doubtful for personal reasons.
Johnson is 6-4, 268 pounds and in his third NFL season out of Virginia. Last season, he appeared in one game for the Browns and spent 13 weeks on the club’s practice squad. Originally selected by San Francisco in the seventh round in 2012, Johnson has appeared in 16 career games with the 49ers (two in 2012), Colts (13 from 2013-14) and Browns (one in 2015).
