The Cleveland Browns signed guard Hjalte Froholdt to the active roster on Tuesday.
In corresponding transactions, the Browns placed center Nick Harris on the injured reserve list with a hamstring injury and released linebacker Elijah Lee.
The 6-foot-5 and 310-pound Froholdt spent the first four weeks of this season on the practice squad of the Houston Texans. He was originally drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots after playing collegiately at Arkansas.
Froholdt appeared in eight games, all with the Patriots, in 2020, playing 61 snaps on offense and an additional 32 on special teams.
