CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns lost to the Ravens on Sunday. Wednesday, they signed a player off their practice squad. The Browns added defensive back Reggie Porter to their active roster, the team announced.
Porter, a rookie, is an undrafted free agent out of Utah who originally signed with the Colts. He was waived by Indianapolis in June and spent the first two weeks of the season on Baltimore's practice squad. In 36 college game, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Louisiana native had 16 pass breakups and two interceptions.
The Browns had an open spot on their active roster after placing wide receiver Corey Coleman on injured reserve.
