Rookie defensive end Myles Garrett and the Browns can let out an enormous sigh of relief.
Garrett, the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, has been diagnosed with a lateral foot sprain and is expected to be ready for training camp, which begins in late July.
A Browns spokesman announced Garrett’s status Saturday.
Garrett hurt his left foot Wednesday during the second of three mandatory minicamp practices and has since been evaluated by Dr. James Voos of University Hospitals and noted foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson of OrthoCarolina.
“After being evaluated by Browns Head Team Physician, Dr.
