The Cleveland Browns will welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Berea this week for a pair of joint practices.
That is all part of the run-up to Saturday’s preseason game between the two teams at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
On Sunday, head coach Kevin Stefanski revealed that quarterback Deshaun Watson will “get the vast majority of the reps” during the practice sessions, but will not face the Vikings in the preseason game. As Watson continues to work his way back from the shoulder injury that ended his 2023 season early, the team wants his work to come in a “controlled setting” to ensure no further setbacks even though he has been cleared for full contact.
