The Cleveland Browns carousel of wide receivers continues. Just last week, the Browns had picked up Jordan Leslie following the loss of Corey Coleman due to a broken hand. Leslie had performed well and opened a lot of eyes during the preseason, being among one of the final cuts to trim the team down to the final 53-man roster. When they brought him back, it appeared he would be ready for big things in Coleman’s absence.
Well it didn’t take long for Leslie’s potential impact to be nullified. The wideout tore his hamstring in the game against the Bengals this past Sunday and as a result, he was released by the Browns today.
