The Cleveland Browns have found their franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield. In just his rookie season, he has transformed the Browns offense and has become the obvious leader of the team and the organization.
Since Freddie Kitchens became the interim offensive coordinator prior to the Browns’ Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Mayfield’s play has improved. With Kitchens tailoring the offense to Mayfield’s strengths, the passing offense has become more efficient while still creating big plays.
Mayfield’s play has made him a strong candidate for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
