The Cleveland Browns added cornerback Robert Jackson to the active roster on Saturday as the club prepares for the season-opening game against the Baltimore Ravens.
It is not a surprising move given that the Browns will be without cornerbacks Greedy Williams, who has a shoulder injury, and Kevin Johnson, who is still recovering from a lacerated liver, for Sunday’s game.
Jackson is in his second season with the Browns. Originally an undrafted free agent out of UNLV in 2018 who was signed by the Indianapolis Colts, Jackson joined Cleveland’s practice squad in 2018.
