Phase one of the Cleveland Browns’ offseason conditioning program is rolling full steam ahead in its second week.
About 90 minutes, four days a week are spent in the Casey Coleman Field House and weight room, as players work on various strength and conditioning practices. The other few hours are allocated to the classroom, where the Browns meet as a team, as an offensive-defensive unit and also specific positional groups – depending on the day.
Browns strength and conditioning coach Paul Ricci has a background in basketball and several of the players said last year’s offseason program was the most grueling they had been a part of in the NFL.
