The Browns made roster moves Wednesday involving two picks from this year’s draft class upon rookies reporting to team headquarters for training camp.
The team placed tight end Randall Telfer, a sixth-round selection, and cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, a seventh-round choice, on the active/non-football injury list. It also put undrafted rookie defensive lineman Tory Slater on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Telfer, Ekpre-Olomu and Slater count toward the 90-player limit for the active roster and are eligible to be activated upon passing a physical.
Browns coach Mike Pettine has said Telfer would miss at least a significant portion of the upcoming season but “there is a chance that he’ll be able to help us late in the year.
