The Cleveland Browns placed defensive linemen Emmanuel Ogbah and Jamie Meder on injured reserve. Ogbah broke his foot and Meder suffered a high-ankle sprain in the team’s Week 11 loss to Jacksonville.
To fill their empty roster spots, the Browns activated defensive end Tyrone Holmes and signed defensive back Justin Currie. They also signed defensive back Jacob Hagen to their practice squad to replace Holmes.
Ogbah, a second-year defender from Oklahoma State, started all 10 games at defensive end, compiling 29 tackles, four sacks, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one blocked extra point.
