On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns officially placed starting right guard John Greco on injured reserve with a sprained MCL. Head coach Mike Pettine previously said that Greco's injury would not require surgery. With only two weeks left on the season, he wouldn't have recovered in time, so right guard will be rookie Cameron Erving's job the rest of the way.
Filling Greco's roster spot is wide receiver Darius Jennings, an undrafted free agent. Jennings spent most of the year on the team's practice squad before being called up to the active roster several weeks ago.
