The Cleveland Browns officially placed G Chris Barker on injured reserve after clearing waivers on Monday.
Barker, 26, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada in May of 2013. However, he was unable to make the final 53-man roster and was placed on waivers at the start of the 2013 season.
New England later claimed him off of waivers and he’s been on and off of the team’s practice squad for the past few years. The Patriots brought Barker back on a future/reserve contract this past February before cutting him loose a few weeks after this year’s draft and he wound up being claimed by the Browns.
