Browns pay for two penalties with no time left in 2Q, trail Steelers 14-0 at halftime

The Browns trailed the Pittsburgh Steelers 14-0 at halftime Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium after two defensive penalties cost them eight points with no time left in the second quarter.

The Steelers decided to go for it on second-and-goal from the Browns' 3-yard line with five seconds left before halftime.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's pass intended for wide receiver Antonio Brown fell incomplete in the end zone, but a holding penalty called on Browns rookie cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun gave the Steelers another shot with time expired.

Then on first-and-goal from the 1, Roethlisberger threw incomplete in the end zone again, but Browns cornerback Joe Haden drew a penalty for pass interference against Brown.
