CINCINNATI: The drought for the Browns’ $9 million man is over.
Receiver Dwayne Bowe finally made a contribution in Week 9, catching a 4-yard pass on a Browns’ field goal drive in the first quarter Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium.
On first-and-10 from the Bengals 15, Bowe got under a quick slant from quarterback Johnny Manziel. Bowe, 31, was active for only his fourth game this season. He had been targeted three times previously and failed to make a catch.
Bowe came to Cleveland after eight years in Kansas City, where he worked with now-Browns General Manager Ray Farmer.
