BEREA: Offensive lineman Alvin Bailey conceded Friday he let the Browns down by getting into trouble off the field.
North Royalton police arrested Bailey early Monday morning and cited him for operating a vehicle impaired, speeding, driving an unsafe vehicle (cracked windshield), drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and failure to comply, according to a police report.
Bailey had a blood-alcohol content of .147 and officers found marijuana in his pick-up truck, according to the police report. Bailey told police he had been drinking on the team’s flight home from Miami on Sunday night and later continued at Panini’s Bar and Grill in Strongsville.
