NFL investigators visited the Avon Police Department last week to discuss the Oct. 12 in-car fight between Browns backup quarterback Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, with all of the officers who were involved in the incident, dispatcher Adam Quest confirmed Tuesday for the Beacon Journal.
The NFL has scheduled an interview with Manziel because it’s investigating whether he violated the league’s personal conduct policy. The league has not disclosed where or when it’ll meet with Manziel, but the rendezvous could take place as early as this week.
Crowley accused Manziel of hitting her a couple of times in his Nissan GT-R and pushing her head against the car window, according to the police report.
