BEREA: Browns starting offensive lineman John Greco talked last week about practicing snaps to ensure he’s ready to play center in the event Cameron Erving is injured.
“Here it is,” Greco said Monday as the Browns (0-2) prepared to face the Miami Dolphins (0-2) on the road Sunday.
Greco will move from right guard to center in the starting lineup while Erving recovers from the bruised lung he suffered in Sunday’s 25-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Backup Alvin Bailey will fill Greco’s usual spot at right guard.
The Browns will also be breaking in their third starting quarterback in as many games with rookie third-round draft pick Cody Kessler preparing to lead the offense.
