BEREA: Browns coach Hue Jackson rushed to the rescue of Sashi Brown on Thursday.
Brown, the team’s head of football operations who controls its 53-man roster, has been criticized by some fans and media members for saying this week the 0-10 Browns are focused on developing players and changing the organization’s culture while not getting caught up in their win-loss record.
On Monday, Brown met with local writers and said, “We’re not focused just on wins and losses.” In a story published Thursday on Sports Illustrated’s MMQB website, Brown said, “We are not focused on wins and losses this year.
