Browns notebook: Armonty Bryant shows signs of breakout year after following Travis Benjamin’s advice on comeback

BEREA: Electrifying wide receiver and punt returner Travis Benjamin isn’t the only Browns player coming off a major knee injury who starred during Sunday’s 28-14 win over the Tennessee Titans in the home opener at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Outside linebacker Armonty Bryant had by far the best game of his young NFL career less than a year after suffering torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his right knee Oct. 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Benjamin, who suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in October 2013, has inspired Bryant during his comeback.
