The Cleveland Browns have made another move on the coaching side, but this time it’s an addition and not a subtraction. The team announced on Wednesday that Ryan Lindley will serve as running backs coach to close out the season.
Lindley was brought aboard to replace Freddie Kitchens, Cleveland’s former running backs coach who was promoted to offensive coordinator on Monday after relieving Todd Haley of his coordinator duties.
Kitchens and Lindley have a long connection, dating back to the Arizona Cardinals, who drafted Lindley in 2012; Kitchens was Lindley’s quarterbacks coach for two seasons.
