CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Myles Garrett has been diagnosed by two doctors with a left lateral foot sprain and is expected to be ready for training camp in late July, the Browns announced Saturday.
Garrett was first diagnosed by Browns head team physician Dr. James Voos of University Hospitals, and then as part of the team's process, by Dr. Robert Anderson of OrthoCarolina, who did not examine him in person.
It's good news for the Browns, who hoped that Garrett didn't sustain any structural damage in the foot after he went down in minicamp on Wednesday afternoon.
Garrett is currently in a walking boot and will receive treatment on the ankle over the next six weeks.
