The Cleveland Browns may be in the market this week for a new placekicker after Zane Gonzalez’s very horrible bad day in New Orleans.
Gonzalez missed two field goals and two extra points in a 21-18 loss to the Saints. That came a week after Gonzalez had a potential game-winning field goal blocked in overtime during the tie against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As today’s game wore on and the missed kicks piled up, the cries for the Browns to release Gonzalez mounted, with the most sought after replacement being veteran kicker Dan Bailey, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys prior to the start of the season.
