If Baltimore Ravens and Super Bowl winning quarterback Joe Flacco sought more motivation in his career, it might have come from one of the most unexpected incidents — his anterior cruciate ligament injury last season.
“That definitely taught me something. It definitely teaches you how fortunate we are, and it reminded me how much I love the game. Sometimes you get caught up in the whole process of it all,” Flacco said during a teleconference with Cleveland media earlier this week. “You don’t really think too much about it, but when you have to sit at home and watch the game for six straight weeks on TV — you have to watch all your guys out there playing without you.
