It wasn't surprising that the Cleveland Browns made a big move at the NFL trade deadline.
What was surprising was that the Browns would add a player — especially one the caliber of linebacker Jamie Collins.
Players were supposed to be leaving the Browns, not joining them. Most of the speculation had Joe Thomas or Joe Haden gone by 4:01 p.m.
Instead the Browns brought in linebacker Jamie Collins from New England. The Browns, yes the Browns, added a player considered either the best or among the best on New England's defense.
The trade was a shock because New England dealt Collins.
