Browns make latest move in ongoing stadium chess match

The Cleveland Browns made their latest move on Thursday in the ongoing chess match with the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County over the team’s future home.

The team has been working toward building a domed stadium and surrounding entertainment complex in the Cuyahoga County suburb of Brook Park to be ready when their current lease at the downtown stadium expires at the end of 2028. City and county officials have continued to push back on that plan, preferring that the team remain downtown and play in a renovated Huntington Bank Field.
