The Cleveland Browns open their preseason schedule on August 10 with a game against the Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
While it is still too early for head coach Kevin Stefanski to decide if any of the team’s starters will play that afternoon and for how long, there is one notable name that will reportedly be missing from the broadcast booth.
Joe Thomas, who built a Hall-of-Fame career at left tackle over 11 seasons with the Browns, will not be available for color commentary on the television broadcasts due to a scheduling conflict, according to a story in The (Akron) Beacon Journal.
