Browns lose final preseason game 37-33, but plenty of big plays on both sides

The Browns played their final preseason game of the year against the Seattle Seahawks, with a late start at 10:00 pm ET on the West Coast. Deshaun Watson and other starters remained out, and the result was a 37-33 loss, making Cleveland winless this preseason. On to the regular season! But first, here’s a recap of what happened.

1st Quarter

The Browns got the ball first, but QB Jameis Winston couldn’t get anything going as the offensive line was collapsing around him.

After the first punt of the game, QB Geno Smith went to work for the Seahawks and made mince meat of the mixture of the Browns’ defense that was on the field.
