Bernie Kosar will always be QB1 for Cleveland Browns fans of a certain age.
During his nine seasons with the Browns from 1985 to 1993, Kosar led the team to three AFC Championship Games and captured the hearts of fans for his fearlessness as much as his skill.
That fearlessness, however, led to several injuries and concussions, which contributed to Kosar only playing in 23 games over the final five seasons of his NFL career. He has dealt with headaches, insomnia, and slurred speech since his playing days ended.
Kosar is now dealing with a new set of issues, according to a Cleveland Magazine article, in which he reveals that he is suffering from liver failure and has Parkinson’s disease.
