A current and former Cleveland Brown spent the morning in court today, answering to felony drug and gun charges.
Linebacker Armonty Bryant and former defensive back De’Ante Saunders pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the charges, and Cuyahoga County Judge Joseph Russo set a $2,500 personal bond for both men.
Oddly enough, their case was assigned to former Browns player Dick Ambrose, who is a respected Judge in Cuyahoga County. The pair will be back in court on March 1st, just six days from now.
The incident involving the two took place on Christmas Day as they were stopped in Saunders’ 2015 Dodge on Interstate 71 in Brook Park about 2:15 a.
