After viewing today’s practice, 120 Northeast Ohio moms joined the Cleveland Browns Moms Clinic, emceed by CBS and TNT sports reporter and Ohio native Allie LaForce. Participants learned about CDC-approved concussion recognition and response protocols; proper equipment fitting; Heads Up tackling; Heads Up blocking; heat emergency preparedness and hydration; and sudden cardiac arrest, and heard directly from medical experts. The program also allows participants an opportunity to interact with other moms from around the sport. They also engaged in a hands-on Heads Up tackling session, led by St. Ignatius Head Football Coach Chuck Kyle, USA Heads Up Football Master Trainer.
