Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Browns brought in veteran TE Kellen Davis for a visit on Tuesday.
This is the first reported interest in Davis since the free agent market officially opened a few weeks ago.
Davis, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2008. He spent five years in Chicago before playing for multiple teams over the past three season including the Seahawks, Lions, and Jets.
The Jets waived him with an injury designation back in November and he later reverted to their injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed.
