Travis Coons is considered questionable for Sunday’s game in Seattle but the Browns are optimistic he’ll be ready to go in a familiar place.
Coons, who played his college ball at University of Washington in Seattle, is dealing with a sore groin that has limited his activity in Cleveland’s last two practices. His rest Friday was a “precaution,” Browns coach Mike Pettine said.
“I didn’t necessarily injure it I just felt like a little tightness there,” Coons said. “I didn’t want to overdo it and then have an injury.”
Following along with the precaution theme, the Browns worked out a handful of kickers Friday, Pettine said.
