The football gods must have a twisted sense of humor.
Of all the teams in the NFL that New England Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady could face coming off his four-game suspension from Deflategate, the Browns have been cast as the sacrificial lamb.
The Browns (0-4) are the only winless team in the league, and barring the upset of the year, they’ll remain that way after they face Brady and the Patriots (3-1) beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium.
At least the young Browns have the right attitude about being home underdogs by at least 10 points at most sportsbooks.
