The weather is warming and that means football is heating up.
The Browns’ offseason workout program has moved from solely the weight room and classrooms to the football field.
Phase II is officially underway, where individual instruction and drills for the group are allowed and all coaches are permitted to monitor, but there is no offense vs. defense.
It marked the first time quarterback Josh McCown was able to throw to new receivers Dwayne Bowe and Brian Hartline. Bowe made a terrific leaping one-handed catch.
“The goal, and my part at least, is to help us come together and play good football,” McCown said in a recent interview.
