Browns GM John Dorsey Says Compensation Too Much to Move Back Into Round One of the Draft

It was a quiet night in Berea as for the first time since 2008 the Browns did not make a selection in the first round of the NFL Draft.

The team did have some chances to get back into the round, but GM John Dorsey told the media in the early hours of the morning that no deal came to fruition for the club.

“There were about three guys we were looking at that we thought may help us,” Dorsey said.

“To get up to the position where they were acquired at that time, I thought the compensation was too rich to move that far.
