Browns G/C Ryan Seymour Suspended 4 Games for Violation of PED Policy

The backup offensive lineman can play in the preseason, but not the first four games of the regular season.

Backup guard/center Ryan Seymour received a four-game suspension from the NFL this afternoon for failing the league's performance enhancing drugs (PED) policy.

Seymour can play in the team's three remaining preseason game, but cannot return to the active roster until Monday, October 5, following the Browns' fourth game of the season against the Chargers.

The third-year lineman said in the team's statement:

"Although I did not knowingly take a substance that was on the NFL’s banned list, I do know that as an NFL player I must take full responsibility for everything that is in my body.
