BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns elevated safety Kai Nacua and linebacker B.J. Bello from the practice squad, the team announced on Friday. The Browns released safety Calvin Pryor and quarterback Josh Woodrum on Thursday.
Nacua, and undrafted free agent out of BYU, had nine tackles and a pass defense during the preseason. Bello had four tackles and a sack.
Pryor was released following a fight with teammate Ricardo Louis. Woodrum was claimed off waivers on Sunday.
"Obviously they saw something in me that they like and they were willing to take a chance on me," Woodrum said on Wednesday.
