The 2023 NFL Draft was always destined to be a bit of a low-key affair for the Cleveland Browns.
The club entered the offseason knowing they would not be making a selection on the draft's opening night, having sent this year’s first-round selection to the Houston Texans as part of the trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The second round similarly went quiet in late March when general manager Andrew Berry sent Cleveland’s second-round selection to the New York Jets in exchange for wide receiver Elijah Moore.
Berry was still packing enough selections to address some of the needs along the roster, and even though he did not make a selection until the third round, Berry finished the weekend with a trio of players who should see action this fall in wide receiver Cedric Tillman, defensive tackle Siaki Ika and defensive end Isaiah McGuire.
