Browns draft S Derrick Kindred, who played 2015 with broken collarbone

Safety Derrick Kindred did something last season that seems to defy belief: Prior to TCU's bowl game, Kindred told the media the played the entire season with a broken left collarbone. Kindred hurt the collarbone before the season, and TCU trainers said he could play without doing further damage. His options: Surgery and miss the season, or play through the pain. He chose the latter, and was named All-Big 12 with 87 tackles and two interceptions. The pain was brutal, but he dealt with it.

My take: It's hard to criticize a guy who played the way Kindred did with the circumstances he had to endure.
