The Browns made a deal earlier in the week for Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins, sending either a 2017 compensatory third-round pick or a 2018 fourth-rounder to the Patriots for his services.
Don’t run out and by a Collins jersey just yet though, as Collins, who is set to be a free agent at the end of the season, may only be here for a short amount of time.
The linebacker has yet to get into any talks with the Browns about a new deal, as Collins’ agent, Bus Cook, says the LB and team have not engaged in any substantive contract talks yet, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora.
