Field Yates of ESPN reports that the knee injury sustained by Browns DL Danny Shelton is expected to require a recovery period of 3-6 weeks.
Given how close we are toward the start of the season, the Browns could face a tough decision as to whether they should carry him on their active roster or place him on injured reserve as a candidate to bring back later on in the year.
Shelton suffered the injury yesterday, but it’s at least a good sign that he won’t require surgery.
Shelton, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Browns back in 2015.
