Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward is practicing and taking part in Pro Bowl events in Orlando this week and talked Thursday like he is preparing to play in Sunday’s game.
Ward had two concussions as a rookie; the second forced him to miss the season finale.
“I feel good," Ward told ESPN's Mike DiRocco. "I may have to tap into my Deion Sanders-type tackling, but I feel good, though. I hate that I had gotten the concussions, but I’m feeling good though.”
The Browns kept Ward on the active roster for the final game of the regular season in part because he had been selected for the Pro Bowl as a rookie.
